  The City of Southgate has population of close to 30,000 in a geographical area of 6.68 square miles. Of it many attributes…The Dining Capital of the Downriver area is a banner easy to understand. Faith in the Master of all creation is also a banner of the community. One outstanding example is the Community of Bethel Baptist Church on 13330 Trenton Road. In its architecture it stands as a reminder of the past. In its outreach and openness to human enrichment to the neighborhoods the church community acts as a front line example that “church going” is not just a Sunday opportunity but action plan for living and breathing faith throughout the week.
  Why this post? Another contributing facility to the life of City of Southgate is “Southgate Manor Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing”. Often referred to as “THE MANOR” we are 100 Rehab center located down the street from Bethel at 15400 Trenton Road. Bethel Baptist Church has a number of times allowed us into their “holy” space for our new hire orientation classes. When space is limited in our facility we are able turn to Bethel to help us create a calm learning environment to orientate our new workers. We maintain a work force of close to an average of 130 personnel. This number is needed to maintain our 24 hour a day home. Bethel Baptist is a great neighbor----let this post stand as Southgate Manor trumpeting a THANK YOU call: “YEAH TO THE FAITH COMMUNITY OF BETHEL BAPTIST CHURCH OF SOUTHGATE!!! Thank you for your openness to the MANOR! Thank you for helping increase employment opportunities for numbers of individuals. May your generosity be turned into expressions of God’s love working in lives and actions of all people who encounter your faith community….thus enrichening your Sunday Morning Parise!
